So I had my diabetic appointment on Wed and it didn't go well. I found out that there are four stages to being diabetic there's normal people, then it can turn into insulin resistant, then to pre diabetic (which is a really small area a lot of people skip this and just go from insulin resistant to diabetic) then to full blown diabetic. after many tests and such turns out I'm pre diabetic. but I'm online like 3 points from being diabetic. lovely huh? so anyways I HAVE to loss this weight. they put me back on metformin he wants me to get up to 2000 mg a day!!!! that's just crazy to me. I'm also on a..ok i'm suppose to be on a low carb diet and i'm suppose to eat 6 times a day! I can't do that so I'm just cutting back a lot, drinking tons of water and exercising a lot. so anyways I have to go back in 6 months and then if I haven't lost weight by then they'll retest and see if I need to go on insulin. SO if wanting to lose the weight to look and feel good wasn't enough motivation then by gosh not going on insulin is HUGE!!!!! so anyways i'm working my butt off. i need to lose at least like 50 lbs by march! So I got my work cut out for me.....but I've been doing good so far.....just got to keep thinking about all those needles and cost and such..
So here's to losing some weight so I can get HEALTHY!!!!!
